This is a great way to help open up the Anterior Hip Capsule. Tightness here can contribute to back pain, poor pelvic alignment and create compensated movement patterns both up the keltic chain - from the back/pelvis up to head and down the kinetic chain from pelvis/hip down the knee/foot/ankle.
